Maksym Dyedikov
Co-Founder and Curator of OCMA
Maksym Dyedikov is a Ukrainian cellist, Honored Arts Worker of Ukraine, concertmaster-soloist of the National Odesa Philharmonic Orchestra, and curator of the educational programs of the Odesa Classical Music Academy.
He received his musical education in Ukraine and abroad. He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at concert venues across Europe, including as a participant in the programs of the Verbier Festival (Switzerland). He has collaborated with leading musicians and orchestras and has performed for members of European royal families, including Queen Sofía of Spain and King Charles III of the United Kingdom.
Alongside his performing career, Maksym is actively involved in teaching. He mentors and teaches young cellists, among whom are prizewinners of Ukrainian and international competitions, as well as students of leading music institutions in Ukraine and Europe.
